MindRush is a free online color memory game built to test how accurately you can remember a shade, then rebuild it from a palette. It is quick to play, easy to understand, and hard to master.
A color memory game challenges your visual memory. You see one or more color cards for a short time, then you must recreate the colors as closely as possible using hue, saturation and brightness.
Choose how many colors you want to remember, press start, memorize each card, then use the palette to rebuild the sequence. After five rounds, your final score shows how close your guesses were.
Colors are difficult to remember because small changes in brightness or saturation can feel similar at first. Your brain often remembers the general tone, but loses the exact shade after a few seconds.
Focus first on the color family, then compare brightness and intensity. Try naming the shade in your head, such as dark teal or pale violet, before rebuilding it from the palette.
