Shape recall

Shape Memory Game

Memorize abstract shapes, then rebuild each silhouette from memory using draggable control points. The closer your rebuilt shape is, the higher your score.

What is a shape memory game?

A shape memory game tests your ability to remember outlines, proportions and spatial relationships. Instead of choosing a matching card, MindRush asks you to recreate the silhouette yourself.

This makes the game useful for training visual memory and spatial reasoning. You need to remember where the edges were, how wide the shape felt and how each point connected to the next.

How to play

Start a round, study the target shape, then rebuild it by moving the control points. When your shape looks close enough, lock it in and compare your result with the target.

The game runs for five rounds. You can increase the number of shapes to remember when you want a more demanding challenge.

Why shape memory is hard

Shapes are difficult because small changes in angle, width or curve can change the whole silhouette. Your memory may keep the general object, but lose the exact structure.

Rebuilding a shape also adds a motor challenge. You need to translate what you remember into precise point movement.

Tips to improve shape recall

Look first at the overall outline, then focus on the most unusual corner or curve. Try to remember the shape as a simple path from top to bottom instead of as a single object.

When rebuilding, place the biggest anchors first and only then adjust the smaller details. This usually gives a better score than moving points randomly.
